So far I have only been "practicing" homeschool so I can easily work up to doing the real thing! It is an overwhelming task, for sure. This year, my son is finally old enough to go to "real" preschool, and we almost sent him! In the end though, we decided to teach him here at home. I am really excited! I am not sure exactly how I am going to do it, yet. I am going to spend the next month or so getting ideas and plans together and then I will start. In the meantime, we have little "school time"s every couple of days. We have some good children's encylopedias as our main material. I let the kids choose a topic and we look it up and read about it. Then we do a craft and a game or activity that is related to the topic. Pretty unstructured but it works for now.
Anyway, expect changes and updates! I hope to get this rolling soon.
